Jason graduated (Cum Laude) from New York Chiropractic College and holds an honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. He has completed his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, and has attained the highest certification for an Active Release Technique (ART®) Provider.
As a complement to his manual medicine and acupuncture training, Jason is also certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association NSCS-USA. Jason been involved in fitness and competitive sport-specific training since high-school.
Jason believes strongly in educating clients in all aspects of health and fitness. His diverse background and skill set allow him to administer effective integrated treatment and therapy to assist in the areas of pain management, acute-injury care, post-surgical rehabilitation, functional training and rehabilitation, increasing muscle mass, improving athletic performance, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, stress management and sport-specific personal training.
Personally Jason is married and has three young children. He likes to play recreational sports and compete in local road races. He plays baseball and soccer, and is assistant coach of his sons soccer team.
Dr. Rob Green is a sports chiropractor at Price Health Centre. While completing his Honours Kinesiology and Physical Education degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, Dr. Green played varsity basketball and football. Rob's strong athletic background, his interest in the human body and helping others, led him to a career in the health field. Rob received his chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. After which he obtained his certification in contemporary medical acupuncture from McMaster University.
Rob is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Certified Kinesiologist with the Ontario Kinesiology Association. As a strength and conditioning coach and Kinesiologist, Rob has worked with National level skiers, CFL players, University teams and weekend warriors. Rob has worked with all levels of fitness enthusiasts to make sure they are working out safely and effectively. He continues to emphasize the importance of evidence based knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of therapy and training. Rob's background also includes work as an exercise specialist treating surgical rehab patients, and working with controlled weight loss programs. Rob also spent time lecturing on ergonomics, rehab and injury prevention at the University Health Network in Toronto.
CHRISTINE JOHNSTON B.a., R.M.T.
Christine Johnston graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy and obtained certification with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO - www.cmto.com) and is a member of the Ontario Massage Therapists Association (OMTA - www.omta.com).
Christine provides therapeutic massage treatments aimed at providing lasting relief of common musculoskeletal pain and dysfunctions by treating the body globally. She specializes in sports therapy and pregnancy massage and is a certified Can-Fit Pro Personal Trainer. Christine is currently studying Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto(www.osteopathiecollege.com).
Pauline Martin-Vanstone, RMT
Attending the University of North Florida on a fastball scholarship, studying exercise science and her strong athletic background sparked her interest in working with the human body and helping others.
Pauline graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy and obtained certification with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and is a member of the Ontario Massage Therapists Association (OMTA). After graduating she continued her clinical studies with a colleague who has been in the massage business for over 30 years, learning assessment and treatment techniques that address the whole body which provides lasting relief.
Pauline has experience treating whiplash and other injuries from motor vehicle accidents, sports related injuries, and postural imbalances. It is very important to Pauline to provide a safe, comfortable environment and education to her clients.
VANESSA COWLEN B.Kin., CPT, SN
Vanessa graduated from WilfridLaurierUniversity in 2003 with an honours degree in Kinesiology. Vanessa is a multi-sport athlete who currently plays in the National Ringette League. While attending Laurier she also competed as a varsity athlete in Lacrosse. Her athletic background has allowed her to gain extensive knowledge in areas such as weight training, stretching and general exercise programs.
Prior to joining the Price Team, Vanessa worked in the Toronto area as a kinesiologist/clinic administrator.
Her clinical work experience allowed her to develop various other clerical abilities enabling her to take on administrative duties.
SUSAN HADDOCK
Before joining the team at Price Health Centre, Susan worked at Ontario Pioneer Camp in Muskoka for over 8 years.
She began her time there working as an outdoor education instructor teaching mountain biking, orienteering, canoeing, wilderness survival skills, cross country skiing, and other outdoor recreation classes.
Over the years Susan has developed her administrative skills by working as a registrar, receptionist, office manager, special projects coordinator, and staff supervisor.
Susan loves working in an administrative setting and enjoys interacting with many different people throughout the day.
She shares with her husband Jesse, a passion for camping, a love of people, and a desire to see people grow and develop through recreational activities.
